This could be any one of a number of things however there are a
few things you can check yourself. First of all check that the cable
coming from the dish is connected to the Digibox There is a connector
at the end of the cable called an 'F' connector. Make sure the cable
has not come loose from the connector or from the Digibox Unplug
the Digibox from the mains electrical supply, leave it for 2 minutes

SkyHD 3D -Active v Passive 3D explained
Active v Passive 3D refers to the type of glasses you have to wear
to watch 3D. Active glasses contain LCD lenses that alternately
black-out each eye depending on whether the right or
left image is being displayed on the screen. They are referred to
as active because they require a battery to operate the LCD lenses.
The shuttering occurs so rapidly that you dont see the shutters
just the amazing 3D picture.
Passive glasses use polarisation to separate out the left and right
image. They are referred to as passive because the glasses do not
require any power to operate them. These work with polarised TVs
that use circular polarisation to deliver the two images to the
viewer. The TVs have a polarized filter integrated into the screen,
and when switched into a 3D mode, the filter orientates the light
emitting from screen differently for the left and right image. When
you put on the passive polarised glasses the left lens has a filter
that blocks out the right image and right lens has a filter that
blocks out the left image.
One important point to consider is the cost of replacing broken
or lost 3D glasses. Active glasses will cost more than polarised
glasses due to the additional technology they use. Active glasses
will also occasionally need a new lithium battery (similar to a
watch battery) when it runs out.
Can weather interfere with a digital satellite signal?
Yes. Rain and snow can reduce the signal by up to 50%.
Bad sound
If you encounter poor or no sound, please make sure the scart cable
is connected correctly. If you did not connect your tv via scart
but via coax cable, you cannot use the sound of your tv (unless
it is a UK model or a model supporting PAL I ), because this outlet
is designed for the British sound system. Connect via scart or mute
your tv and use the Hi-Fi chinch outlets of the digibox for sound.
How do I access text?
If you are watching a channel that carries text, you can view and
use the service by pressing the TEXT button on your remote control.
What is my PIN and how do I use it?
Your PIN is initially set as the last four digits after your viewing
card number. It can be used to restrict the type of programs that
can be viewed and to set a spending limit to control box office
purchasing.
Why should I leave my digibox on standby and not unplugged?
From time to time, updates are sent to your digibox from the satellite.
The update will not be received if the digibox is unplugged.
Programming your Sky remote to operate your Television volume:

"Sky Subscription"

To subscribe you will need a credit card, MasterCard, Visa or UK
bank account for direct debit. A satellite system has to be pointed
to ASTRA 28.2° and a skybox with an active Viewing Card that
can be ordered through us. If you order Sky plus or SkyHD: Sky plus
and SkyHD will only fully work if you connect it to your dish with
two cables (instead of one) using a twin- or quad-LNB.
How do I upgrade my subscription to receive other channels?
Please contact us for further information. DO NOT CALL BROADCASTER.
If I choose to subscribe to a premium channel, how long does
the subscription last?
The minimum period for adding on a channel is 30 days.
What bonus channels do I get with the premium channels?
This depends on the channel you choose to add on. Check your contract.
Can I change my subscription package after I have ordered?
You can change your subscription either before your viewing commences
or after the first month in accordance with the terms of your subscription
contract.

The minimum subscription period is 12 months.
Why is my first payment more than my subscription?
Your first payment includes the time from when the card is first
activated until the time the broadcaster receives and processes
your contract plus the next month in advance
"General FAQ"
Do I need a TV licence?
In short yes, it costs 116 Euros per year but is included in your
annual 'taxe d'habitation' bill unless you specifically opt out.
Can I receive French and British broadcasts with the same dish?
In certain areas of France it is possible to use just one dish to
receive both language channels using one specialised dish. However
it is always better to use two dedicated dishes, as the signals
will be stronger.
Can I use my 'Freeview' set-top box in France?
The set-top box will work fine for French TNT broadcasts, but not
British satellite channels. Freeview is a terrestrial system and
should not be confused with Free to Air satellite (FTA).
What dish size is required for Freesat & Sky?
For most of France a 65cm dish is fine, however for more southerly
regions an 80cm or larger dish is advisable.
Why are my channels breaking up or freezing?
This problem has several causes. The most common is a weak signal
caused by a poorly aligned dish, the wrong size dish or substandard
cable. You are more likely to notice this problem during bad weather
and certain channels are weaker than others. For example Euronews
will normally suffer before any problems become apparent on other
channels. It may also be caused by a faulty Digibox or (temporarily)
by a heavy storm. If you experience this problem during normal weather
conditions including moderate to heavy rain then there is a problem
with your installation and you may need to call in a professional.
I already have a dish on my property can it be used for British
broadcasts?
If it is the correct size then the answer is probably yes, however
it will probably need to be realigned onto the correct satellite
unless the previous owners were British too. Please note that realignment
is not always possible if there are trees or other buildings surrounding
your property.
How many boxes can be run off a single satellite dish?
LNB's come with various outputs, i.e. they range from single exit,
from which you can run one box, then two outputs for two digiboxes,
and four outputs for four digiboxes. Up to the maximum being eight
outputs from an Octo LNB, enabling you to run eight digiboxes from
the one satellite dish.
If however you have a situation and require more than 8 independent
areas, it can still be achieved using 1 satellite dish using a Quattro
LNB and a switching and amplifying unit. For example, 64 apartments
each installed with a decoder, so each resident can have a digibox
and a subscription of their own.
